I'm a People junkie (we get it at work, so I get to read it for free) and they had an article in it today regarding patients who have had WLS and have traded their 'addiction' to food for something else. One woman became a compulsive shopper, another an alcoholic, and the other started smoking again. The Dr they quoted in it stated that it happened to less than 5% of WLS patients.
Anyway, I'm not against WLS or anything, but just thought it was an interesting article
