I have a very close friend who is suffering from a bad case of lymphedemas. She is ultra-sized (550+) and cannot get into most cars. She lives in a rural area outside Atlanta, GA. From what she has told me I believe her tumors to be infected. She is very down and her mobility is almost completely gone. She has seen 3 doctors, but none of them have any knowledge in dealing with a person of size. I am very worried about her, but she tells me that nothing can be done. I know that there has to be someone out there that can help. Please, if you are in the Atlanta area and can give my friend a ride to see a specialist contact me immediately. Also, she has been fighting medicaid to get a wheelchair so that she can get out of her house when she wants to. If anyone has a wheelchair that is wide enough let us know too.
