The great white north, eh?
My son is an energetic, happy-go-lucky sort of kid, so sometimes when we are walking somewhere he skips along, having too much energy to just walk.

Which got me thinking. I recall skipping along sometimes as a kid, but I'm pretty confident I haven't done so for a couple of decades. Why not?

So I tried it.

Now I know why not.

Two good reasons:

1) Wow is skipping harder when you are carrying more weight, what with all the up and down. I can walk forever, but ten seconds of skipping and I was starting to breathe hard. I don't know how long I could skip, but, ummm, not all that long I think.

2) I had no idea I could possibly jiggle that much. Nothing else I've done has given me such a sensation of everything bouncing around. I'm not all that big, but belly, breasts, butt, they all felt like they were slam dancing or something. Before trying this I would have told you I'm not fat enough to jiggle much--but I would have been wrong.

Guys, anyone else want to give it a try and see if it is just me being goofy, or if this is really not a BHM-friendly activity?

PS to be clear, I'm not talking about skipping rope, but rather that way of 'walking' which is also, confusingly, called skipping.
