Thanks guys, I appreciate not only the responses, but just you taking the time to read my stuff.

I’ve always liked the stories that tell some version of a person suddenly able to create weight gain however and whenever they want it. For my version I tried to add my spin on it and see what happens when a perfect situation suddenly goes “off the tracks” so to speak. It took the story in a view different directions and certainly made it longer then I intended, but it seems to at least made an interesting read.

And believe it or not I do have another story in the works.;)

Interesting! Definately not the end I expected. I find it hard to believe that a guy who can invent a remote control with near god-like powers would not be able to somehow bounce back on his feet. I can certainly understand the relationship with Beth turning sour after all they had been through, but the state he is in at the end doesn't fit to me... I don't know maybe he was burdened with the guilt of what he had done and the pain of losing Beth... but the mental and physical downfall of the character is shocking and a little disheartening/depressing...

So... not what I had hoped would happen, but good story none-the-less and thank you for writing. I look forward to reading more of your work. :)

A minor note, I was hoping for some kind of resolution with the news anchorwoman Carol. Well, at least to hear what happened to her. Did she ever have a child at least?

Megan was the anchorwoman and she's in the epilogue. Carol was one of the nurses and did not get a mention in the epilogue.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Definately the best WG story I've ever read. It seems like the ending was a bit hurried-at least for the length of the whole thing. All in all though, 11 out of 10 stars
