I had a talk with my brother today that got me to thinking about home. At least, what I CALL home. I was born in Aurora, but since I don't very well remember living there I still call Oswego my "hometown." There are days where I miss being around Oswego. I knew people there, people I could call my close friends. My old house is somehow still standing there, and the last time I drove by it I was heartbroken to see two windows broken into. Soon the house will be destroyed, and my childhood will technically disappear from the map. However, that's not the purpose of this thread. :)

I wanted to pose a question to people. How many of you would return to your hometown? Obviously for many of us drastic changes have occured since living there, but would something perhaps draw you back? It could be for family or friends, or just the pleasant neighborhoods, to start your own family, whatever reason there might be to go back. My brother says he'd never really go back, as there's "nothing there for him." I can't help though but feel attached to the town. Today, Oswego has become Suburbia, but I remember living in that house and I can't help but feel nostalgic.
