I know many of us are on a tight budget when it comes to grocery shopping. I also know that some of us purchase the store brand items. My questions is this: What will you and what won't you purchase off brand?
The reason I ask this is because I opened my cabinet and a can of greater value green beans were mocking me. Their twin was dumped into the garbage a few weeks ago. O.M.G I had never tasted anything so nasty in my life.
Here are the list of things that I currently buy off brand:
tea
cheese
hamburger helper
cereal
I think that may be about it for now. So what about you? Do you think some store brands are better than others? Are you a purist and only purchase the brands you've known and love for many years?
