OK, so this summer I've been enjoying the American version of What Not to Wear with Clinton and Stacy. On a whim, since I live near NY, I decided to check out exactly how much a session with Nick and Carmindy would cost, or if it could even be done.
Here goes....Nick has his own salon, of course, and yes, if you can get an appointment with him (schedule far in advance) a haircut will cost you $500. If you want color, it will run you a couple hundred more, depending on the process.
Carmindy, god bless her, I think she's got mad skills, charges $1000 for an hour and half session. This includes her teaching you how to apply your own makeup. Weekends only.

By the by, you can go to another stylist in Nicks salon and get a cut for between $125 - $175...which is sort of reasonable for NYC, if you're going to that sort of salon.
