Does everything need to include drug use?

This is probably posted in the wrong place, but I have noticed how normal drug use (or talking about using drugs) has become. I see it on social media all the time. not just talking about Marijuana either; prescription/illegal drug abuse like meth etc. It kinda saddens me that using whatever has become so normal and accepted that no one cares anymore.
