After reading a billion threads on healthcare and how we need it I have to ask who doesn't have it and why?
As a child I was covered by my parents plan until they decided they didn't want to work anymore and then I was covered by the State of NJ Welfare system.
As an adult I have been offered the opportunity to purchase affordable coverage at every job and that includes McD's, a gas station, various warehouse and manufacturing plants and construction and landscape companies. So who exactly is not being offered benefits at their jobs and or why aren't they covered?

To me the system in this country is easy to understand. As an adult you get a job with benefits and your family is covered until they get a job with benefits and so on. And for those who are not as lucky as my son is to have a responsible working parent there are safety nets already in place like Welfare to cover them.

So please explain to me why you DON'T have coverage. I find it hard to get behind the National Healthcare movement when I don't understand why some people are not covered.
