So as a post-script to the The Gaining Life and I thread I posted, I've decided to gain as much as I can for the next three weeks, at the end of which I'm flying back home for a visit. That'll give me enough time, I think, to push me up to the low 220s, which is (again I think) the right weight for me to be able to finally judge whether I dig being fat and whether to keep it on or take it off. Not the perfect plan, but I've gone through enough imperfect ones for one adolescence. Which segues into...
I've been getting different reports on how people's metabolisms get slower as they get older, even as soon as in their 20s. I'm almost 21 myself, and can anyone tell me from experience if their metabolism slowed around this age or a few years later? It'd be nice to know that, if I was 24-25 and I wanted to slim down a bit (not that I even know what I'm doing a month from now), it wouldn't be impossible; this might take some of the guilt off of my decision as mentioned above. So yeah
