ENFP - and it fits quite well.

edit: short description

ENFPs are among the idealists and make up around 6-8 percent of the population. They are kind, smart, and full of ideas. First and foremost, they are enthusiasts who can get themselves and others passionate about things and, with their contagious optimism, ensure a good mood everywhere.

I haven't taken one in years, but I was consistently INTP for a couple of decades (first took the full Myers-Brigg temperment sorter in University, did a bunch of the web versions as they popped up years later). Or maybe iNtP -- mild on the 'I' and 'T', strong on the 'N' and 'P'

I don't know, is this me:

An Advocate (INFJ) is someone with the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging personality traits. They tend to approach life with deep thoughtfulness and imagination. Their inner vision, personal values, and a quiet, principled version of humanism guide them in all things.

Advocates are the rarest personality types of all. Still, Advocates leave their mark on the world. They have a deep sense of idealism and integrity, but they aren’t idle dreamers – they take concrete steps to realize their goals and make a lasting impact.

Advocates’ unique combination of personality traits makes them complex and quite versatile. For example, Advocates can speak with great passion and conviction, especially when standing up for their ideals. At other times, however, they may choose to be soft-spoken and understated, preferring to keep the peace rather than challenge others.

I'm a Mediator--and I think it fits pretty well! Especially with the creativity, desire to help others and difficulty focusing or making decisions. Thanks for posting!

BEK, from what I've seen of you here, that sounds about dead on!

LFWren, something that has been observed in on-line communities for ages is that the proportion of the temperaments that spend a lot of time in on-line communities does not at all match the population at large. S is more common than N in the overall population, but you'd never know it in forums and discussion groups!
