Does anyone else see their fat as social insulation? I am 5'11\6'0 and about 315. Not only do I enjoy my size, but I am finding it very helpful as an idiot repellent.

It seems that most folks don't want to be around a fatty, as if it is catching. I am not very friendly to strangers, not rude just not very warm, and I am finding as I get bigger less and less folks approach me. This is not true of kids, who seem to think that I may just be Santa or at the very least a close cousin. I was walkinf across the Wal-mart lot when a wee person pulled his dad's hand and said' "Daddy, thats Santa", must be the belly and the beard. I laughed and winked at him.

But for adults fat is a wonderful insulation. Society is so scared of fat that I am free to walk through the biggest crowd with room for comfort. I am eating with glee, knowing that as the smaller among us get crushed in the coming shopping season, I will wander, unmolested and wonderfully obese.

The other benefit to blubber is that it is so darn sexy. I get more flirting now than I ever did at 200 or even at a fit 180.

Enjoy your fat
Mac
