"In The Naked Truth, five obese young people talk in raw and revealing detail about what it's like to be obese, how and why they think they became obese and how they feel about their bodies."

Oh wow, usually these things are so discriminatory I wasn't even going to bother watching this. But this was actually really good. I'm proud of my plus size country-men/women.

I agree Loopy, they all were adorable and so fresh and real. This was very well done and a great pick me up. The why they shot it was great.

It was very good, and could be summed up as "Fat happens". Too many average weight people think their wonderful weight is due to some remarkable effort on their part when it's as much luck as any effort they make.

And why is it that the Brits still reference their weight in stone and not kilos? Do your scales display in stone? It's as peculiar as our (the USA) continuing to use pounds even though the US Congress made it a law in the 19th century that metric was an acceptable system of measurements in the country.

I am English. I will try and explain a few things. People's weight is measured in stones. But in hospital it's metric. Petrol and diesel is sold in litres. Along with fizzy soft drinks. Cans of beer are metric but if you go in a pub, beer is sold in pints. Also milk is sold in pints but does state the metric capacity. Distance on road signs is measured in miles. Televisions are sold in inches and timber is sold in metres. The list goes on. So I cannot really explain anything. In Britain it's just the way it is lol.
